The story behind TAOIDE
Taoide means 'tide' in Irish.
Inspired by the Atlantic coast of Ireland, Taoide reflects an approach to nutrition that is practical, flexible and grounded in evidence.
Life isn’t always predictable. Our routines change, our priorities shift, and sometimes what worked for us before no longer fits. I believe nutrition should be able to move with those changes — not make life revolve around food.

Evidence-based
Nutrition advice should be grounded in the best available scientific evidence. I aim to provide clear, reliable information without the noise and confusion that can surround nutrition online.
What you can expect:

Hi, I'm Jane!
I'm a Registered Associate Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition and I have a BSc in Public Health Nutrition.
I created TAOIDE to provide personalised nutrition support that feels realistic and relevant to everyday life.
My approach is evidence-based, but I don’t believe nutrition advice should be one-size-fits-all. Your goals, preferences, routines, circumstances and relationship with food all matter.
During our work together, we’ll look at where you are now and identify practical changes that make sense for you.
Personalised
There is no single way of eating that works for everyone. Your support will be shaped around your individual goals, circumstances, preferences and lifestyle.
Practical
Nutrition needs to work outside of the consultation. We’ll focus on realistic changes that can fit around your work, social life, routines and the things you enjoy.
