At Taoide Nutrition, I understand that plans can change. This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are handled.
 

1. Free Discovery Calls

Discovery calls are free 15-minute appointments conducted through Google Meet.

If you are unable to attend, please email hello.taoidenutrition@gmail.com as soon as possible so that another time can be arranged where available.

There is no cancellation fee for a discovery call.
 

2. Initial 1:1 Nutrition Consultations

An initial 1:1 nutrition consultation costs €60 and lasts approximately 60 minutes.

If you decide to proceed following an enquiry or discovery call, I will email you links to three Google Forms:

• A health questionnaire.

• A three-day food diary.

• A client intake form.

These forms should be completed and submitted before your consultation so that I can review your information and prepare appropriately.

Completing these forms does not incur a separate fee. Your consultation fee and payment arrangements will be confirmed with you before the paid service is agreed.
 

3. Follow-up Consultations

Follow-up consultations are optional and available to existing clients following an initial consultation.

They last approximately 30 minutes and cost €35.

Follow-ups are arranged privately by email. If you decide not to continue with further support, there is no obligation to book another appointment.
 

4. Rescheduling an Appointment

If you need to rearrange a paid consultation, please provide at least 48 hours' notice wherever possible.

I will do my best to offer an alternative appointment time, subject to availability.

If you need to rearrange an appointment at shorter notice, please contact me and I will consider the circumstances individually.
 

5. Cancelling a Paid Consultation

If you wish to cancel a paid consultation, please contact me by email as soon as possible.

Where at least 48 hours' notice is provided, I will discuss an alternative appointment or an appropriate refund, as applicable.

For cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, I will consider the circumstances individually.

If you miss an appointment without providing notice, please contact me so that we can discuss the circumstances.

Any cancellation charge or amount retained must be fair, proportionate and consistent with applicable consumer protection legislation. The 48-hour notice request does not override your statutory cancellation rights.
 

6. Your 14-Day Right to Cancel

When you agree to purchase a consultation remotely, including by email or through the website, you generally have a statutory 14-day cancellation period under Irish consumer protection legislation.

The cancellation period normally begins on the day the service contract is concluded.

You may cancel within this period without giving a reason.

If you request that your consultation takes place during the 14-day cancellation period, I will provide the relevant information and seek any required express request and acknowledgement before the service begins.

If you cancel after expressly requesting that the service begins during the cancellation period, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the service already provided, where permitted by law.

If the consultation has been fully completed during the cancellation period, your cancellation right may end only where you have given the required prior express consent and acknowledged that you would lose your right to cancel once the service has been fully performed.

These statutory rights take priority over any conflicting arrangements in this policy.
 

7. Refunds

Where a refund is due, it will normally be issued using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

Refunds following a statutory cancellation will be processed within the applicable legal timeframe, generally within 14 days of receiving notification of cancellation.

If Taoide Nutrition needs to cancel your consultation and an alternative appointment cannot be agreed, an appropriate refund will be provided.

All refund requests will be considered fairly and in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
 

8. Cancellations by Taoide Nutrition

If I need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, I will contact you as soon as possible.

You will be offered an alternative appointment where available or an appropriate refund if the consultation cannot go ahead.
