1. About Taoide Nutrition

Taoide Nutrition is operated by Jane Francis, a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) with the Association for Nutrition (AfN), based in Ireland.

These Terms & Conditions explain the arrangements for using Taoide Nutrition's nutrition services.

By agreeing to proceed with a paid consultation, you confirm that you have had the opportunity to read these terms.
 

2. Services Offered

Taoide Nutrition currently offers the following online services:

Free Discovery Call

• Duration: 15 minutes.

• Cost: Free.

• Format: Google Meet.

• Purpose: An initial conversation to discuss your nutrition goals, understand the support you are looking for and consider whether Taoide Nutrition's services are appropriate for your needs.

Initial 1:1 Nutrition Consultation

• Duration: 60 minutes.

• Cost: €60.

• Format: Google Meet.

• Includes a review of relevant information submitted in advance, discussion of your nutrition goals and personalised, evidence-based nutrition guidance.

Follow-up Consultation

• Duration: 30 minutes.

• Cost: €35.

• Format: Google Meet.

• Available to existing clients following an initial consultation, where further support is requested.

• Provides an opportunity to review progress, discuss challenges and consider appropriate adjustments to nutrition goals.

All consultations are delivered online and arranged individually by email. Taoide Nutrition does not currently offer automatic website bookings.
 

3. Enquiries and the Client Journey

There are two ways to enquire about nutrition support.

Option A: Free Discovery Call

You may submit a Discovery Call Enquiry through the Taoide Nutrition website.

I will review your enquiry and contact you by email if a discovery call appears appropriate.

If we agree to proceed, a free 15-minute discovery call will be arranged through Google Meet.

During this call, we can discuss your goals, what support you are looking for and whether my services are a suitable fit.

Following the call, you can decide whether you would like to proceed with an initial 1:1 nutrition consultation. There is no obligation to purchase a consultation.

Option B: Direct 1:1 Nutrition Consultation Enquiry

You may also enquire directly about an initial 1:1 nutrition consultation without first having a discovery call.

I will review your enquiry and contact you by email to discuss whether the service is appropriate and explain the next steps.

Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee acceptance or create an obligation to purchase a service.
 

4. Preparation Before Your Initial Consultation

If you decide to proceed with an initial 1:1 nutrition consultation, I will email you links to three Google Forms:

• A health questionnaire.

• A three-day food diary.

• A client intake form.

These forms help me understand your relevant health background, dietary habits, lifestyle, nutrition goals and individual circumstances.

You will be asked to complete and submit the forms before your consultation so that I can review the information and prepare appropriately.

Your initial consultation will take place after I have received and reviewed your completed information.

If information is missing or I need clarification, I may contact you by email before proceeding.

If the information provided suggests that your needs fall outside my professional scope, I may recommend another appropriately qualified healthcare professional instead.

Information submitted through these forms will be handled in accordance with the Taoide Nutrition Privacy Policy.
 

5. Consultations and Follow-up Support

Your initial consultation lasts approximately 60 minutes and takes place through Google Meet.

During the consultation, we will discuss your nutrition goals, dietary habits, relevant information from your questionnaire and food diary, and practical evidence-based strategies that may be appropriate for your circumstances.

After the initial consultation, you may choose whether you would like further support.

Follow-up consultations are optional and are not automatically included in the initial consultation fee.

An optional follow-up consultation lasts approximately 30 minutes and costs €35. Follow-ups are arranged privately by email with existing clients.

There is no obligation to book a follow-up consultation. If you decide not to continue, your service ends following your initial consultation.
 

6. Payment

The price of each paid service will be confirmed before you agree to proceed.

Payment instructions and arrangements will be provided by email.

The payment deadline and any relevant payment conditions will be communicated before your appointment is confirmed.

No payment is required for a free discovery call.
 

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please contact:

Where possible, I ask that you provide at least 48 hours' notice so that another appointment time can be offered.

Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are handled in accordance with the Taoide Nutrition Cancellation & Refund Policy and your statutory consumer rights.

If I need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, I will contact you as soon as possible to discuss an alternative time or an appropriate refund.
 

8. Right to Cancel Online Services

Where a consultation is agreed remotely, you generally have a statutory 14-day right to cancel under Irish consumer protection legislation.

The cancellation period generally begins on the day the service contract is concluded.

If you request that a consultation takes place during this 14-day period, you will be provided with the relevant information and asked for any required express request and acknowledgement.

Where a service has been partially provided during the cancellation period, a proportionate amount may be payable where permitted by law.

If a service is fully performed during the cancellation period, the right to cancel may end only where the legal requirements for prior express consent and acknowledgement have been met.

Your statutory cancellation rights are not removed by these Terms & Conditions.
 

9. Nature of Nutrition Support

Nutrition support provided by Taoide Nutrition is educational and supportive in nature.

It is based on current evidence, the information you provide and my professional knowledge and competence.

Nutrition consultations do not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

I do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication or provide treatment for eating disorders or mental health conditions.

You should consult your GP, Registered Dietitian or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns or specialist clinical support.
 

10. Individual Results

Nutrition is individual, and outcomes can vary depending on personal circumstances, health, lifestyle and other factors.

I cannot guarantee particular health outcomes, weight changes or results from nutrition support.

Any recommendations are intended to support informed choices and realistic changes rather than promise specific outcomes.
 

11. Confidentiality and Personal Information

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Taoide Nutrition Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

Information shared during consultations is treated confidentially, subject to legal obligations and circumstances where disclosure is necessary or permitted by law.

12. Online Consultation Requirements

Consultations take place through Google Meet. Meeting details will be sent to you by email.

You are responsible for having a suitable internet connection and a device that allows you to participate.

Please choose a private environment where you feel comfortable discussing personal information.

If technical difficulties occur, reasonable efforts will be made to reconnect or rearrange the appointment.
 

13. Changes to Services or Terms

Taoide Nutrition may update its services, prices or these Terms & Conditions when necessary.

Any changes will be published on the website. Changes will not retrospectively alter the terms or price already agreed for an existing appointment without agreement.
 

14. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit or exclude your statutory rights under Irish or European consumer protection legislation.
